Repair costs

Looking at importing an Alfa GT and had it inspected by the AA. Really comprehensive inspection, which has thrown up one or two issues, mainly:

    * the drive shaft inner gaiter is split and leaking grease.
    * the clutch is stiff and may need replacing in the reasonably near future.

How much would these costs to repair? Roughly?

Also, the tyres are worn to 3mm so again, may need replacing in the medium term - again, how much would that set you back?

    Thanks in advance,

I'd have a gander over at Alfa owner.com.

Or for a definitive answer I'd Gerry Campbell, TI Autos, 1 Cowper Street Dublin 7. 01 - 8386567.

Indy Alfa specialist, should be able to give you prices on the drive shaft and clutch.

Thanks mate - from the forum the clutch seems to be a general issue with GTs. Some people get them replaced, some don't.

And Id assume the gaiters cheap enough.
