My daughter is looking for driving lessons and is thinking of going to the Hibernian Driving school here in Galway, does anyone know much about them?

Have they got many instructors? Are they good?

If it contravenes the charter on here feel free to pm me with any info.

    Cheers! :)

How's it going mate, the Hibernian Aviva Driving school uses local instructors, works kinda like a franchise, it's local Instructors driving the Hibernian car.

It's a fantastic deal, €380 get her 11 Lessons plus 6 months accompanied driving on your or her Mum's car; both cars if the two of yis are with Hibernian Aviva.

Just be carful with the 6 months accompanied driving, she will not actually be a named driver on the policy, she will have to be accompanied by a parent.

As a named driver she car drive the car so long as she is with somebody (anyone at all) with a full licence over 2 yrs.

With accompanied driving she will have to be with a parent (and nobody else)

Just with the Hibernian offer. One of my house mates did the course, disliked the instructor and needed further lessons after the 11 were up. the insurance deal was no good to her due to her circumstances so read the small print. Another house mate had an instructor who works for himself, she paid 350 got 12 lessons, passed the test and was free to shop around for her own 12 months insurance. But of course there are loads who get on fine with Hibernian as I say, for what its worth.
