Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Folks just thought I'd ask a question. My OH was at a concert last night and took a load of photos. she looked back through them and all looked well. She changed memory cards later on and when she came home she switched back to the original card to try an look over the photos again but is getting an error saying "unrecognised file format" obviously she's pretty upset, she managed to get front row seats.

I have a card reader at home so i asked her to stick the memory card into that to see if maybe the camera was having a fit but she has said there's nothing on it. 1GB of photos lost (she's trigger happy i guess)

anyone any ideas? the camera is a Kodak Z715 IS if that helps.

Download Recuva or a similar program, stick the card into your card reader, and see what it can find. Have had success with this in the past, however if the card is corrupt then it may not work. Recuva is freeware and will not damage the card.

After this check for firmware updates for the camera (this will not help with this issue but may prevent it happening again).

cheers I'll chance my arm. I was hoping that it was a micro SD card that was put into an adaptor and had just come loose or something but no such look. I'll try that. cheers
