Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It seems that most newsreaders on the radio are women, certainly on any commercial stations i listen to. Im confused as to why this is. I'd hate to think that its for some stupid reason like "sexy voices" FTW giving dismal news?!

To me, I prefer to have the news read by someone who sounds like they understand what they are reading and carry some intelligence in their ability.

Any thoughts or am I just a cranky old fart??

Chirpy wimmins on low budget stations is pretty much par for the course. I'm sure your reasoning is correct, "hey the worlds ending but never mind love".
