Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Burnely 4-1 down from the first leg, so a big ask tonight,

however they have just gone 1-0 up on 33 mins with a delightful free kick from Robbie Blake,

his 2nd such free kick in as many games, he scored a beauty against Preston last saturday, have been looking for a link of it ever since, anyone else see it?

Alnwick invited the shot with his positioning. Conditions are less than ideal, making it the perfect game for Burnley to try out-muscle Spurs.

Yeah he did invite it alright and his positioning was poor, but it still required some skill.

the conditions are not the best, modric full of muck :)

Would love to see Burnley go through. If they hadn't capitulated in the first leg they would be capable of holding out.

Chris McCann the goalscorer. C'mon the Irish!

They are better off going out having gallantly pushed Spurs the whole way to the end than getting humped by Utd in the final tbh.

Burnley ahead on away goals (which come into effect after extra time)

I thought they got rid of the rule that 2nd place gets uefa if the winner is in the Champions league?

    Edit: Reckless got there first

Have the rules changed? It used to be that only the Carling Cup winners got the UEFA Cup place, runners up didn't get the place if the winners qualified for the Champions League

I think Bales "record" was only in PL games.
I believe Spurs have won in other competitions with him in the team......

What a great match for Burnley. Lets hope they push on and win the tie.

They didn't deserve that a bit. Had no heart whatsoever.

United will take them to pieces in the final no matter what side they put out and I personally can't wait.
