Aye, the fact that it's Jap would worry me though, they're known to blow up from time to time!

Just got me thinking, the tax I'd save on one of them over the ZT would cover the extra insurance.

Going from a 75 ZT to a impreza? would the latter not be a much firmer ride. The subaru isn't going to have half the toys your car has as well.

I suppose if your looking for something quicker & more chuckable then the more basic interior wouldn't bother you?

    Circa 240 - 280bhp me thinks.

    *EDIT*
The basic turbocharged motor, the EJ20, produced from 244 PS (179 kW; 241 bhp) to 210 kW (286 PS; 282 bhp) in Japanese market WRX trim depending on model and year. Outside Japan, the turbocharged model was initially rated at 211 PS (155 kW; 208 bhp) and marketed as the 2.0 Turbo, 2.0 GT, 2.0 GT Turbo, 2.0 WRX, or Turbo 2000 AWD in the United Kingdom.

    Wiki........

The ex's brother had a similar year subaru(only a 1.6, but same interior).

Seriously man, you'll regret it. Getting into a ZT feels special, it's a bloody wonderful place to be. The Impreza feels like a tin can, and it's genuinely a horrible place to be.
Would you not look for a cheapish 1.8T ZT instead? 160bhp, alright on the juice and decent to tax/insure.

    *edit* Something like this?
X-Power Gray, Projectors, Straights, + pack, upgraded seats and proper boot spoiler.

Yeah, I just like a change every now and then, the last thing I'd get to replace the ZT would be another one :D Not straight away anyway.

Would the repair on the gearbox be much?

Car looks exceptionally clean, maybe a dent just over back left bumper below aerial?

    300 lids + box repair?

Anything more than a fluid change and it will be expensive really. Was behind a black W124 over the weekend, much like my old one. Something about them does appeal :)

Someone needs to click over the mental calendar.

Although usually there by the end of Jan.:)

The ad originally said 2012 for tax expiry. Amended now I see.

Either way it is definately a good synergy or banger/bargernomics!

When I'm on this thread and see stuff like old 7 series and that Legend, our motor tax system makes me want to cry :(

If our tax system wasn't the way it was, then those cars wouldn't be as cheap to buy 2nd hand.

Yes most of the larger 3 litre plus stuff that's 8 or more years old is 50% cheaper here than in the UK, suprised there's not lots of buyers from there coming over here to snap them up.

What happened the passenger door leather? High heels? (looks more like bare feet?). Fun, anyway...

    Not your ornery onager

    €1500, pure luxury...
    [

I have been looking a Lexus Ls400 and you can get 1998 model about 2k. I think it is better buy than Legend. v6 205hp against v8 290hp, same tax, most likely same insurance and there should not be that big difference with petrol consumption, so why bother getting the Legend?

    .. coz it's a Honda Legend :p
