This car is alot of flash for little cash, but its not a car to be relying on for everyday driving....will hurt you on maintenance...

I ran a 2.0 166 for about 3 years. Killer on maintenance costs at that time as it was relatively new and no used parts available. Everything was silly money from the dealers. Now however, Id say it would be easy to run one on a budget as many used parts available everywhere now.

Its a light tap but never the less significant on a car of that price. Nothing wrong with the ad though to be fair.

Is it the piece of wood under the car or the suds on the boot. I love the seats btw.

They go for at least 3k sterling in the UK.

I'm guessing you're obviously not familiar with these cars. It's not any old 850 saloon worth about 600-700 quid, but a rare 850R developed by TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing).

I bought this yesterday. 1200 quid.
First go at bangernonics. Needs a new cv joint and clutch isn't great.
It will cost about 600 to put it all right. So looking at 1800 quid for a beaut. With 2 years test. Love it.
It goes like the hammers if fook and I found myself speeding without noticing. Thanks to all you bangernomics heads.

Hero! That's proper bangernomics there, best of luck with it and keep us updated.

On the clutch front, if it's not actually gone (ie. slipping) don't do it, not straight away anyway. Drive it for a bit first :D

    Where do you start?

He has 2 cars for sale - a '91 & '92. All we know is that one is a 3dr and the other a 5dr.

No idea which year is on which car, no mention of tax, test, mileage, work needed.

Standard idiot type advert with less than minimal information provided.

    [QUOTE=cannonballer

I came across this little Corsa low mileage and 6 months tax on it. little on the pricey side.. was thinking about something like that for the Au-pair we have at the moment.

Great find, best of luck with it.

Has it had some whacks to the front corners or is that the light?

Probably because the car is worth €500. Over the top maybe, but come on, service history on something like that?
