This seems like a good deal. Nice with the summer coming up and nct.

Forget about Mr. Unhappy Saab estate and give Mr. Honest Volvo V40 estate a call. Asking €950 so I reckon €800 notes on the day would secure, and its NCT'd until the new year.

Huge value if it's straight and sound.

At a glance that looks rwd

The Passat only adopted a transverse engine layout in the middle of the last decade. AFAIK Audi still persist with the longditudinal layout on the A4/5/6/7/8.

Add looks familiar. I think it was advertised a few weeks ago and possibly referenced here also.

The enormous spoiler on the back would scare me away tbh.

Is that not a genuine Alfa spoiler? I'm sure that was an option on the 2.5 ones, I may well be wrong though.

Ya, looks legit Alfa to me. But together with that headunit = ring driven out of it?..

Not me, but a mate just bought a 00 MK4 Golf, 130k miles for €1k.

Got a full valet, service and new windscreen for €500, stuck it in for the NCT and failed on a rear bulb. Its now fully NCTd, drives very well and is in great nick, nice price I think. :)

Proud of it too. I will gladly admit to having a hankering after a Rover 75 2.5 V6 Connoisseur in Wedgewood Blue. It would have to be one of the first Cowley built ones though.

I like the Alfa 156 as well and wouldn't mind that spoiler if it had the 18" Teledials to go with it.

Same here. I really don't like the spoiler, but I could live with it on a GTA (looks like a genuine GTA spoiler? Any Alfaheads out there?). Big spoiler on a 1.8l car is ridiculous imho

I did think it could be a genuine one. But either way it looks awful!

Even if i had a GTA i'd leave the spoiler behind. No matter what spec it is it's just too much. And i'd love a GTA!

I could be wrong, but I have a suspicion that the genuine spoiler was bigger again!

The GTA one could have had a few inches on that alright

Have none of you seen a 156 with one of those spoilers over the last 11 years? They aren't particularly rare, and for the doubters:

The spoiler has an integrated brake light with none in the rear window, so somehow I doubt it's aftermarket.
