@ LM well wear!! I have to say, I am a fan of lowered cars, but not slammed ones. How are you going to deal with the front wheels turning without hitting the wheel arches if you go lower on the front? (modify the arch perhaps??)

Sorry I was skim reading and thought the front had been switched to the Bora one but I see that was a white one now

Although would I be correct in saying that it was based more on the longer platform of the Bora and not the Golf, even if the differences are limited to a couple of inchs

I'm used to it by now. I'm changing the two front tyres to a lower, skinnier tyre so they'll stretch a tad, it rubs a tiny but on full lock but that's mainly due to a thick layer of unwashed dirt underneath which will soon be powerhosed off! It was lower on the back but I put the cup back in to bring it up around 5mm.

I know it's a very personal thing and I'll get slated for saying it but I think it looks ridiculous that low, specially with the estate body, it's like catching your mates granny in a G-string, wrong wrong wrong.

If we all had they same taste it would be a horrible place ( we all might like Volvos :P :P)

And with fellas dropping diesels to the floor all over the place at the moment , doing it to something with a bit of heritage might do this justice. Okay so its the worst of the GTI's but bring this home for 750 quid and you cant go wrong can you !

Not sure if it is the same BMW, but there was a similar one on here recently for more money than that with a dodgy gearbox. Also had 3 or so owners in the last few months.

Set of M-Par reps and clear indy lenses would make this a very smart looking car!
