    ^^^^^^^

You told us before you'll be able to flog it on for the guts of what you got it for as you got some sort of grant/whatever thing to aid buying it ;)

PS - that Merc is a potentially very good buy.

No mention of mileage and could do with a little bit of tidying but it has a good NCT and a V8;) €1500 throw in a bit of haggling and it could be a decent buy.

I'm on the lookout for a bangernomics motor, in the sub €1000 region. Few months tax/test would be a must.

My Focus is off the road until further notice, and I need a motor to get to work. Don't do huge miles, so dizzil is probably out.

Anyone got any suggestions? Doesn't have to be the luxobarge that normally gets put in here.

How about this. 7 Months NCT, only a couple of weeks tax but you will tax it for 3 months for €87. All for €600, I'm sure you would get most of that back when it comes to moving it on again in a few months. It's the 1.25 too i.e. the good one

Very nice Unkel - I thought it looked looked familiar, I used to work with the previous owner. You should get some interior pics up though.

    +1
I'd say you'll get far more interest in a months time if she passes the nct

€173 is a bargain! That other yoke out front costs €442 per quarter  :p

But seriously, some people aren't aware of it but 2l cars are relatively cheap to tax. The difference between a 1.0 and a 2.0 is €100 per quarter. The difference between a 2.0 and a 2.5 is nearly the same!

The difference between a 1.8 and a 2.0 is just €1 per week!
