If it was as grey as it looks in this photo it'd be much, much nicer.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

I'm sure there's gotta be a catch with this.

2000 BMW 528, NCT for a year, 85,000 miles, serviced and timing done

Timing chain replaced at 70k miles? That would be highly unusual. Is the seller making this up?

You know what I'm trying to say!

There's plenty of get up and go in a 528, in a 728 there's not. Hell, my old 523 was more responsice than a 728 I looked at.

I drove a 97 528i recently and it was noticeably slower than mine. It was fairly battered looking all the same, all about condition I suppose.

Its destroyed down the passenger side and has a freshly painted/wrong colour wing on drivers side it seems. **** box IMO.

Looks like that to me too! Altho photos can lie when it come to colour matching between panels. If I was selling a car I'd be very careful that an angle or reflection on one panel didn't make it look like it was painted with Christmas decoration silver-spraycan paint...

Looks well priced, some pics would be a bonus but probably worth a punt at that money.

Seems is correct. A friend of mine had one and it was knocking like a Jehovahs witness. With all cheap cars, just thread carefully.

The lack of bright blue 100W glarey bulbs or HIDs is a good sign. Any of those galants I see these days have them (and limo tints) as standard fitment. Usually being driven hard too...

That could be bangernomics if it didn't look like the front was off another car!

the front right wing looks to be different too, and there seems to be something going on below the drivers door

I think the drivers door is open on half-latch which is giving the impression of two different colours. If it was auto it'd be perfect

Looks v good. Makes alot more sense than a typical €1200 E39 anyway. If its as tidy as it looks, it would be a keeper. Are photos recent though? Petrol prices displayed in one photo look abit on the cheap side.

Looks far too nice for 'bangernomics' in a 'use it, throw it away' sense of the term.

    2k for a tired looking W210 E-Class. There's no doubt it's a banger, but that's far from a banger price.
