A friend of mine is selling this, it's absolutely immaculate (I mean that when I say it). Dirty cheap too.

I know its silly but the angle of that drivers seat would put me off the car, i fukin hate cars/drivers who have the seat back to the rear seat of the car. Puts me straight off. Unless he's 6'5 and 26 stone.

Don't you put the seats back when you clean the car? I'd assume that's the reason. I'm gonna swing by tomorrow and see how good a 95 car looks like in the flesh. Look's good in the pictures.

I do hate buyers though who say NO OFFERS. As a sales rep there is ALWAYS A DEAL.................ALWAYS! ;)

Unless the car was bought for 750, taxed and 700 quid worth of parts put in then sold on without taking perfectionist labour into account:)

No deal in my case. I'm not gagging for the cash.

Whilst we all like a deal and a haggle, sometimes you have to pay the asking, be human, realise what people put into a jammer, and pay the asking - totally accecptable if the asking is a fair price to all, but its nice to get a bit of luck for the fuel home :)

    Indeed.

If I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to purchase an obviously well looked after and appropriately priced motor then I wouldn't insult the seller by haggling.

Fuel home could be a fair chunk of the sale cost in my case ;)

    Bit Expensive IMO.

I picked up a 97 with 80k miles, 1 owner, 1 Yr NCT, FTSH, TB done and almost a years TAX for 800 :D

Mind you it was absolutely manky and battered but drives on the button.

Yup, that starlet is a tad overpriced. Sub 700 would be more appropriate.

Absolute legendary reliability for 700 is pretty good going these days. No leg room in the back though.

Haggling is part of buying and selling. Sellers should not be insulted by haggling. You should always try to get a better deal.

I'd be tempted not to bother contacting a seller with that in the add.

Who cares if they get insulted by haggling?? You don't know the seller, they're not your friend!! The worst they can do is say no and they need to sell their car more than you needto buy it.

I'd be with beer baron on this. There's always a deal to be had!
