Cheap for the money alright, but be aware, that they did have rust issues, so it's worth checking the bodywork thoroughly.

That is extemely true, and i would. I have no objection to spending ages poking around that assesing the rust situation. I love these old things, but am well aware of how years of getting wet and covered in mud and sh!t can take their toll.
Can't beat the old ones for simplicity and ease of repairs etc. You don't have to worry about a few dents or scrapes either

incredibly boring, those and the 323 of the same era are almost as soulless as a corolla but "sensible" incident free motoring so a good one

Dude, it's taxed until November and NCTd until July next year and comes with a usb/aux stereo with bluetooth, €950 is a bargain. This thread is called bangernomics the last time I checked. Why not start your own thread for flash cars at a cheap price if you are gonna be so critical.

Here's a bit of affordable luxury... until you have to tax them... but still.

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2355809

    and a v8

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2438564

Excellent looking cars but unreliable (from my own experience).
V8 has nicer sound but Jag lovers say that 3.2 R6 is better option - again reliability reasons. The later one had nicer dashboard IMO. Quite thirsty which obviously wasn't an issue for the 1st owners but it is now for the next ones. I was happy to get rid of it but I still like them anyway (at least the way they look).

You should read the last 9 words of my post again. You might see it in a minute.... in particular where the word good is used.

They certainly have their issues, but as i've often said about the big fancy stuff for small money when it's posted in here, you have to take your chance with them as it could turn out well of very badly

Yes, you are right. I did risk quite a few times but was worth it for sure.

I think if you buy (what would be) a €80,0000 car for €1800... you should half expect to be the last guy who will drive it!

Yes I saw that but your critique was pointless. Again, this is bangernomics. There's no heirs and graces around here.

Not at all. I bought MB W140 in spring 2010 for €500. Within its service history i found a receipte for 82 000 IRL£ from dealership somewhere in Dublin where the car was bought from. All it missed was a rear lamp on the left side (€20 from eBay).
I made my summer trip accross Europe and sold her in Sweden for €1600. Seen that car this summer and is still driving fine.

Heavy car with a thirsty and gutless petrol engine. Certainly not for me, so it's ruled out on other grounds than spelling.

In this case though given the type of mistakes and the incorrect structure ("is cheaper you find in internet") it's quite likely that they're not Irish, so it's understandable that they'd make mistakes writing in english.

I'd like to argue with MidlandsM for an extended period about why the inability to spell volkswagen would put me off a car as MidlandsM is a prime example of the type i do so love to wind up :)
I won't bother though, partly because our totally level headed and unbiased mod Eoin has already chosen sides and partly because i don't believe the capacity is there to properly understand the entirity of my point.

There are other negative points about the ad however; they've blurred out another car, which makes it look decidedly dodgy and there are only two, badly taken pictures with none of the interior which is probably a disgusting mess.

Please correct your mistakes as homework.

I direct you to here: http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1458 if you wish to discuss/debate what is pointless and what is not.

By the way, it's airs and graces, not heirs and graces.

I simply stated my opinion that those cars while very boring are sensible, good cars.

    Anyway back to the cars

The leather swings it, after you're finished with it you can convert those two front seats to swivel office chairs, and the back seat to a nice novel 2 seater. Then break the rest for parts.

Typo, looking for 2395 for the panda. Others on the Market for similar prices.

Hate that nonsense of deliberately putting the wrong price in the ad....

That panda has to be one of the best we have seen in here. Small, economical, roomy for it size, safe and very little goes wrong with Pandas.

Edit: just seen the price update, ignore!

Now that's the kind of ad I like to see. Great having pics of all angles.
Could have done with a little more info but alot better than many other ads. Nice sewing a small bit of effort made on a cheap runaround

Nope, not worth any more than 550 with a new test, they're a bad seller without P/S, and in 3 door, and in a more than likely faded red!

    Watch this space though
