Now that's the kind of ad I like to see. Great having pics of all angles.
Could have done with a little more info but alot better than many other ads. Nice sewing a small bit of effort made on a cheap runaround

And some interior pictures for that sake. There's always something missing.

Nope, not worth any more than 550 with a new test, they're a bad seller without P/S, and in 3 door, and in a more than likely faded red!

    Watch this space though

A red that gets a compound will look way better than the popular metallic colours like dark green that scratch easily. The 3 door will appeal to a younger buyer.
Agreed that there wouldn't be any meat in it once you tested it and got a few things sorted.

Not that red though, it's a balls for laquer peel.

I thought that red doesn't have a clear coat which is why it goes pink?

I buffed a red polo years ago and didn't notice any.

I've a see a good few that "peel" and beneat the peal has been pink. I'd be nearly 100% sure it has some sort of coat has I've never seen a fully faded one.

Absolute bangeromics. Mechanically simple, easy resale. Loads of tax and test.

My first post for bangernomics, I think.

What do you reckon. 2.5 tdi A6, for €550. No mention of tax, but tested til 03/12.

A bit suspicious given all the money spent on it. Nice if it all checks out.
Hard to call given how bad the pics are

Ah well. Just saw it pop up. If it had been a bit tidier, it could be worth a look.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

    Rotten indeed :D

That said it would make a pretty good car for a learner who doesn't give a toss what they drive or how it drives as long as it's ultra cheap and reliable!

    Depends how you drive em.

Like most petrols of this size, keep the revs as low as possible, and keep a light right foot and you should get about 35-38 mpg. Unless you're doing a lot of miles (say 15k plus) it competes well enough with a diesel, as there is less maintenance and less to go wrong, You'll also get a cleaner lower mileage car for far less bucks. You'll also have more power on tap for when you do need it to overtake etc.

The 1.9td is much better for overtaking.
