    chancer

Not a chancer, just someone trying to make a buck. Buy low, sell high is the idea behind the market economy. The car is worth exactly what someone is prepared to pay for it, be it €350 or €650. Best of luck to them I say.

As an aside the excuse to sell is daft, the pics are sh1te and a set of cheap hubcaps on a car go a long way to improving its looks. He has a lot to learn in the car business.

Begrudgery in Ireland is unreal. Anyone seen to try and make a profit is seen as a scurge on society. Nice set of hubcaps and that would sell for 500 euro

Because the engine is probably done for.

    Quote from ad:

"WOULD BE A GOOD CAR TO PUT A BIGGEAR ENGINE IN AS BODY WORK IS MINT AND LOW MILES. GETTING RARE NOW.

THE BELT RUNNING THE WATER PUMP BROKE AND ENGINE OVERHEATED. STILL STARTS."

A swimmer so most likely took a haircut at some stage. Worth a look though and a bargain at 600 quid

Rear ended??? With dodgy repair, hence needing the quick sale?

Reckon it'd be more hassle than it was worth.

Cant agree with you there. Nothing to fail a test where dents are concerned. For such small money and mileage I couldnt care less if it has more hits than Elvis.

Couldn't agree more. 01 Golf 1.6 I had was sold a year ago for €3.5k, right now it was sold at €2.8k with the leather seats and xenons gone

I mean I'd be concerned by underlying structural damage.

There's no way that's done 23k by the looks of it.

Those old Ka's/Fiesta's had five figure odometers, so it's most likely been around the clock.

Probably driven roughly once a week or only one careful owner. Hope it comes with service history.
