If I bought one of those I'd just put away the 28 ish euro a week, that's half a nights drinking I could easily do without ;)

Might as well have one pint less per week and get the 740i then..:D

56 euro for a night drinking.... I wish it only cost me 56 euro. That'd be just getting me started. Which is why I rarely drink when I'm out anymore.:D:eek:

I go for the whole Nagan and two bottles of Paulaner before I go out, usually enough to keep me silky for a bit. It's mainly the taxi's plus food that kill me...

    Needs to be VRT'd :(

Edit, unless I've done something stupid, I can't see Lotus listed on the ROS site even to see how much that would be.

    Which means it's 9.5k. For a Stage 2 Lotus Elise that's a freakin bargain.

Not available online! The only true way is to buy it and appeal whatever VRT decision has been made!

One of the best cars they ever made.

I'm surprised to see it's Irish too, as not many were sold here by the time they became S90/V90.

    One for you VM :pac:

    volvo-s90%20(1).jpg

Found it in my ignorance of not knowing what an S90 was.

    Looks quite slick I think.

You see a few T5 transplants into them.

With the 1.3, it's actually also rather speedy. It's just a bit claustrophobic in there :)

    ........

I'd sooner a 728i to be honest as ultimate luxonomics, couldn't bring myself to tax a 15 year old 2.9 Volvo unless I had loads of kids or loads of dags :pac:

    The auto testers love them.

That's why you should prefer the saloon:

    7891.jpg

A 728i is just the miserable mingebag version of the E38 7 Series.

    I wouldn't tax the saloon in a fit :D

The 728i would do fine for my pootling around to be honest :)

Euro for euro there is no comparison in bangernomics terms in my book.

It's not really a like-for-like comparison though. The 960/S90 was a rival to the upper ranges of the 5 Series/E-Class. Anyone I've spoken to who's bought one has had nothing but praise for them.

There was also a 2.5 litre 170bhp straight six available for two years.

They've spent/lost an extraordinary large amount of money on them, of course they're going to like them :P

They finished production in 1998. I'd say 10% of them in the world are likely to still be on their original owners who paid the original list price.

Besides, tell me a large six cylinder petrol saloon that holds its value?
