They finished production in 1998. I'd say 10% of them in the world are likely to still be on their original owners who paid the original list price.

Besides, tell me a large six cylinder petrol saloon that holds its value?

None, but it's fairly evident that some will still sell faster than others :)

    FFS, lets just drop this.

I know you're only trying to rile me up.

Apparently the charter bans you from using any such word as 'super' in the same sentence as 'Starlet' .... :D

Those seats must be the most comfortable seats in the world!

Oh they are.. those things have amazingly comfy seats, well specced old school volvos always have. I even prefer them to granada ghia X/cosworth leather seats. List starts out with 1 volvo 700/900 series, 2 granada, 3 scorpio, 4 BMW E32....

back to those volvos though, they're fantastic places to be if you want a really solid car and lots of comfort.

Ignoring the front damage, Id say its rough as f*ck on the body. Ive a feeling it is a patch work of different silvers and generally in poor shape.
Can only see a limited amount from the photos but the whole front doesnt appear to be the original colour.
The close up of body where the 24v V6 badge is stuck looks like its made of fillers too

You can take the engine out and drop it into a stilo iirc, as well as the front seats etc. Would be a nice trick to pull on someone...

Didn't really know where else to put this. When it originally showed up on DoneDeal a week ago it was definitely a bargain for what it was ...

    Full?id=8375695

    Original asking price - €5,500

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/sold/cars/2634555

Now a very nice ( ) dealer in Meath has seen fit to add another near €2500 to the price of it ...

    Full?id=8460687

    Asking price - €7,950!

Tax disc is the giveaway since the dealer has forgotten to edit the plates off it

    Full?id=8460686

I know profiteering isn't illegal, but jeez, give it more than a week before you put it back on exactly the same site where you sourced it from!

^ Meh...... thats how you do business, best of luck to them if its an honest car. He should have told the seller to take the car ad off the site though.
