I wonder how many people actually do listen and learn and don't post about it.

I mean, I drive a Polo 97' that I got for 350, which came with Tax for a month and 9 months NCT. It's still doing me well 3.5k miles later. That is what I call bangernomics, at any rate!

Suprised that nobody has pulled the trigger on this after two days up. I was gonna jump myself but a very firm boot has been put in by the war office so its a no go .........unless I bribe talk really sweet to her this weekend :D Anyway my guess is it'll be driven home for 400 quid. Bit of tax and decent test too ;)

Tax it for 6 months, then test it on the chance it will pass on the 5th of 2012. I can't see much of a loss on a car like that!

Looks comfy too. And the key is in the right place! :pac:

Needs a starter motor, but might be a serious bargain for someone. Long NCT too and all for €349.

What sort of money would a starter motor be? I had one reconditioned for a car I used to have. Was only about €100. Could be a decent purchase alright.

It should start on a push. If it doesn't, walk away.

Other than that, it must be a bastard to do as to why they're selling it so cheap.

One for under €130 delivered here. I know a guy in Galway who reconditions them for around €100 quid too so might be handy for someone.

Edit: Instructions here too. Doesn't seem overly complicated.

Me too... I'd be curious to go and see it, though.

They are one of the best looking cars ever made imo. That still looks modern.

Agreed, there is something about that front nose/grill styling that has not been replicated. These look way better than any of the alfa's I see on this thread.. and before the Alfa heads all turn on me its just my personal opinion;)

Smidge overpiced at 700 lids but if the mileage, tax and test all line up then I'd drive it and drive it and drive it .....

Would be great if it checked out. Like those xli's

Sorry your totally wrong, have you been smoking something..

ITS an XLi Plus ! ffs ;)

Stunning car if anyones in the market, had one for a couple of years, its a total bargain at that price.

No NCT but if handy with spanners as many of you guys are this could work, and it's a V8!

Its a 2.2 petrol which will cost over 800 quid to tax and cost a fortune on petrol. If I wanted a 2.2 it certainly would not be a vectra..
