    Yep I reckon so...if I had the space I'd buy it and if it was in ****e I'd break it...surely there's €€€ to be made from the parts anyway.

    Fun for pennies, and it seems to have plenty of work done to it. Get it through the NCT next month and get it for €700 and you have a rare car. I like it!

    The racing clutch would concern me as it would be real pain in heavy traffic.

    ...bit too cheap to be honest most go between 1 - 3k depending on condition, etc...wasn't many moons ago I was looking at one in ('guaranteed clocked cars - Japcars.ie) and they were going for around 6k!...not that I would have bought anything off that a-hole;

    AP make standard clutches right up to track spec clutches.

    A 106 wouldn't have the power to require a multiplate clutch which are the ones that are really difficult in traffic.

    Nissan Doctor, excuse the noobish question but what is the difference between a racing clutch and a standard one?

    At least he is honest and not one of these numptys that says it will fly through the test. It must have been well serviced to say it has 400k on the clock.

    the display still works and has no dead bits, the back end is reasonably clean, aside from the rust it doesnt look like it had a bad life, interior (aside from footwells) looks clean , to be fair its worth parting only but still, it had a good run

    Would be cool to take that engine for parts, put in another E-Class and try for another 400k miles! Would probably be able for it too!

    if you look at the nct cert it was nct'd in may 2011 so it's got only 7 months instead of an year which is perfectly normal for a used car
