I hope he savours tonight, because the chap is definitely no goalkeeper and is unlikely to ever play again for the spurs.. A new career probably beckons, I'd say McDonalds only I'd be concerned he'd drop the bigmacs..

Heard before the game he was a liability, 120mins of football did little to disprove that. Good at the internet porn though...

just saw that we're apparently trying to sign
    carlo cudicini from chelsea

i reckon he could be the solution to our problems
always thought he was to good to be a bench warmer

Every keeper in the LOI is better than him.

Cudicini is not the answer, he's a good shot stopper but brutal at comming for crosses

`Redknapp said tonight that he knows noting about any cudicini deal, so that ends that..

apart from Malbranque that was our worse decision last year in leaving him go.

Cesar and Alnwick are dreadful. Ronan is right - lots of better keepers in LOI.

Agreed, we should have kept Cerny, he never left us down..alnwick was the regular England u/21 keeper when we signed him.they dont produce keepers like they used to in England any more..

I read or heard somewhere that Redknapp says that he has had enquiries about selling Gomes and that the money on the table was the same as we signed him for. I say take the cash and run and sign arguably the best keeper in the league, our very own, Shay Given.

Seeing Shay's reasons for leaving the Toon, not sure if he'd want to come.

I'd prefer to wait until the end of this season to judge. Since the Fulham game Gomes has been on of our best and most consistent performers and I think he can still get better. I rate Given hugely but we bought Gomes and I'd like to think that the club will stick by him and give him a proper go.
