    Thanks Pal ... got it.
Hard luck on Brendan but Wade did well afterward ... beating Anderson 6-2 in final was no mean feat. :)

Good to see Brendan back in some sort of form, was in a bit of a slump last 5 or 6 weeks.

Well done to Brendan Dolan today on reaching the quarter finals and guaranteeing himself a place in the top 32 of the rankings in the UK Open as well as been guaranteed £1000 for been in the last 64 in Bolton. Mick McGowan is the 33-64 rankings list and it's great to see Mick back in form again after his health problems. William O'Connor is in the 65-96 rankings and this is a great acheivement for the young Limerick man who only started his PDC career last month. The best of luck to all the Irish players in Bolton next month.

Fair play to Beaton, excellent result. I felt he has gone off the boil since that great run of form last autumn on the floor tournements, but this reslut proves he's getting back to his best, especially beating Taylor and running Whitlock, who himself is in top form close, bodes well for the upcoming summer events.

Day 2 of the Austrian Players Championship is taking place today and 2 familiar names are playing in the final,Whitlock v Taylor! Final just starting now.

Final result; Taylor 6 Whitlock 4. An amazing game by the report i was getting,a 9 darter to open the game from Whitlock and also a 11 darter by him with Taylor also throwing a 10 darter!! Unreal throwing by no doubt the 2 best players in the PDC at the moment.

Whitlock's in some form atm. Might have a small bet on him to win the PL.

Hard to put one over on Taylot, but I think Whitlock just might have the game to do that at the moment. PL for Whitlock a value bet

Willie O'Connor won his prelimnalry round game 6-1 against Erwin Valks and plays German player Andre Welgee in the 1st round. Number 1 seed Wes Newton was beaten 6-1 by Justin Pipe,a player who is doing very well recently on the PDC circuit.

    Lewis 6-4 Steve Farmer

was result in todays players championship final.

Good win for Lewis going into Tuesday players championship were he will need some confidence against the other top PDC players. Performace of day has to be from Farmer, a recent bdo to PDC switch-a-roo, who had wins over Anderson, Dudbridge, Wade and Andy Hamilton along the way

Glad to see Steve Farmer having a good day yesterday, hopefully he'll qualify for the World Championship in December.

It's nice to see new names on the winner's rostrum and it's definitely great to see Burnett back in the big time - - - he threw brilliantly in Killarney last weekend.

John Magowan also got to the 3rd. round today.

Thaks for correcting me Dartgod. Nice to see Mr Magoo getting a run and earning £300 in the process.

Another great day for Richie Burnett in Germany - - he beat Gary Anderson 6 - 4 in the semis and now plays Simon Whitlock in the final.

Not such for the Irish players - Mick McGowan lost in 1st. Round and Brendan Dolan, Aodhagan O'Neill and John Magowan went out in 2nd. Round.
