discretionary 2:1

    Hi guys,

    just wondering does anyone know how the discretionary 2:1 works? in the college of humanities i heard that its 2.9 but does everyone with 2.9 get it or whats the procedure?

    Depends.

    I myself got a 2.9 (2.96 I think) and got a 2.1, while other people I know who got a 2.9 got a 2.2

    FYP results may have a lot to do with it, so does if you have shown improvement throughout the 4 year course. These 2 are to be taken with a grain of salt as they may or may not be true.

    think it's college wide but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a discretionary thing
