Over 25 years ago , Kingp35 . I've never hit consecutive 180s since then . I put it down to the fact that I was throwing 8 hours a day back then so the 'room full of monkeys with typewriters' analogy comes into play . Funny thing is that while I was more skilful in those days I'm a better competition player nowadays . I doubt I ever did better than 16/18 darts in competition first time round and would fold completely if an opponent started well . These days I average lower but win more often !

Cheers, i tend to go out and practice once or twice a week, if i can i would practice from 8pm till almost 1am almost straight darts against N01 or the likes. Unfortunately playing against a computer and playing in the leagues is a different thing

ive now lost 3 matches in a row in the league 2-0, tonight was disgraceful from me, my first leg was so bad, 22's and 26's galore, he was so bad but jammy trebles put him shooting at a double first with me on 196, i hit a 140 to give me a chance, both of us ended up throwing about 15 darts at double 1 each, sweating fingers tips, nerves, i just couldnt hit it.

played better in the second leg, hit a ton to open, was solid down through the leg. hit 97 to leave 56, missed 5 darts at double 18 and he checked out.

So let down by my performance but i guess its another one under the belt. Its tough playing on a team with Jacko and Mick Barry and 2 Dublin County Youths because i feel like im letting them down if i lose like so i guess im piling more pressure on myself but i'll eventually handle it.
