Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How Deep for Well

    Hi Guys

    Bit of a how long is a piece of string question but im hoping not.

    I’m wondering how deep the average well is?
    The site in question has house's within 50 meters on both sides that are supplied by wells.

    would be worthwhile asking the neighbours as it would be in the same aquafier and it would give you a good indication

    from my fathers experience drilled numerous wells for a farm
    380 feet poor supply
    540 feet very poor supply
    180 feet good supply

    all of the above wells are in a 100 metre radius of each other

    ps How long is a piece of string

    it is exactly twice the distance from one end to the mid point:):D:)
