Anyone remember this term? I'm sure plenty will remember this tune...it came in for a lot of flak at the time.

Think there were a few hits in 89 and 90 that had a similar beat and remember a few djs calling it psychedelia, but not sure that title ever really caught on. Anyone remember any similar tracks?

This one wasn't too dissimilar, same era, we thought it sounded similar back then anyway.

There were a few bands that went on the candy trip, so to speak, thoough they were more indie guitar, like Pop will Eat itself's Poppiecock EP, which had a few tracks with the name candy in it and the giants of 80's noise the Jesus and Mary Chain's Some candy Talking (their drummer being Bobby Gilespie whio went on to greater things :))
Off the top of my head there was also Gaye Bikers On Acid and Crazyhead

    Sorry Francois.

Was going for the term 'psychedelia' more so than 'the Candy Flips'. Presumed candy flips were just a type of e.

Rebel MC :D I won a Swatch watch thanks to that track, probably around the time it was out - it was played on some pirate station and the first to call with the name won a watch, I got through and became the proud owner of a Swatch! Had to get the DART out to Bray to collect it from the radio station, can't remember what the station name was now, maybe Sunset.
