Canadian U-35 visa advice please?!

Hi, My partner and were thinking of escaping to Canada for a while on the under 35 visa. The problem is my partner overstayed his Australian visa by a few months and we were wondering if anyone know if this will hinder his visa approval? Does it show on the police records? Thanks a million!

well in order for you to go, you MUST get a police certificate from the australian police force. you also must get one from the irish police but if you've been in any other country for 6months or more, then you have to get one for their too.

you have to get the form off their website, go to your local garda station and get fingerprints and then send them off. afaik that is!
