Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Extension Drawings & PP cost

    Hi

    I am looking at getting Extension to Semi D in south Dublin. We got Engineer to does drawings out last Saturday and he quoted me 1500 euro for full set of plans and planning permission submission but does not include Paper Ad. Is this a good Price?

    Depends on what you're getting for it. You said that the engineer will "do" all the drawings, what are they drawing? Are they drawn to comply with development plan/local precident, building regs, best chance of getting planning? or just drawn up what you requested? There are plenty of threads about pirces quoted by designers and the service they provide. I would suggest that you inquire a bit further as to what your price includes. E.g. will they charge extra if a Further Information request is issued? Get a contract/schedule of fees

    The paper add could cost a couple of hundred euro.

    For Dublin prices its probably not out of the way.

    Has he included a working set of drawings and spec also?
