Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wasn't the worst tackle ever but well worth a yellow at least.

He got nothing for it though.

    Some save there.

This game is already reminding me of when United got knocked out last year against Pompey.

Wellbeck has done more in this game than the 2 against Derby put together.

He's also looked quality in any game I've seen him play.

Bit lucky but cant say it hasnt been coming.

Spurs sitting back since the goal and paid the price.

    Clearly not a Scholes goal.

    DIMITAR BERBATOV! :horray:

WElbeck has looked decent on the right hand side, still not convinced about him though...

Danny Welbeck is multi-talented. A great prospect up front, a handful on the wing... And i thought he was really good in the second series of Everybody Hates Chris:

Anyone else get the impression that Ronaldo couldn't give a flying duck about this game? He's doing ok when the ball comes to him but still doesnt seem to have any interest whatsoever.

Who did they say has never played on the winning side for spurs on itv can't rewind it on skyplus

he does seem like he only wants to take 1 touch whenever possible, rather then take the ball on

With Gary Neville in central defence, this isn't over yet.

Fabio looking awesome although Spurs don't look to arsed. Tevez playing out of his skin as always. I've changed my mind sign him up whatever the price!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Clive Tyldesley is a plank. Wonderful football being played all over the park and all he can praise is Tevez running around like a mad man.

Kinda surprising Utd werent looking for a third there in the five mins before half-time. Would imagine they'll start lively looking for a third at the start of the second half as Fergie will really want to avoid a replay.

I wonder how much of Spurs performance is down to being called mish-mash players by their manager as opposed to actually being mish-mash players.

Some of the players would be clearly in the mish-mash camp e.g. Alnwick, BAE
while others are clearly not e.g. Dawson, Modric but what's interesting is the ones who are neither clearly in neither camp.

Has he mentioned that night in '99 yet?

Sounds like a lot of united fans.

That's what I thought about Bale - wasn't watching ITV was watching Setanta at the time, so don't know. Could well be one of the Spurs players who hasnt had a lot of game time e.g. Alnwick, Gunther

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,246 ✭✭✭Mgoraf

Giovani on for Modric. Don't rate this guy at all...

Only one reference so far, but I'm sure he'll be looking to improve on that.

Bale had a decent chance to put Giovani through to an open goal there.

    Who Giovani Dos Santos?

He was on the fringes of the Barca first team last year and scored for them a few times. If you are rating him on his Spurs performances then, thats harsh considering he hasnt played.

Nope I'm not. Seen him play for Barcelona quite a few times.

    Eckersley told to warm up.

    FFS another defender out.

    Impressive debut though.
