What do you call your TV Remote?

In my family we have called it the Modge for many years.

I assume this stems from to word Modulator as in Frequency Modulator but I could be wrong.

I also know a girl who calls it a 'Goji'. I've no idea how that came about.

Do other people nickname the remote?
Is it just me?

i call it : the remote control

for example : " hey guys , do any of ye know where the "remote control " is"

or

" will you pass me the remote control please"

We call it "The Remote"

When I was younger I used to call it the changer.
Now I can remotely access my TV with my mind, so I have no need for a remote control.

We got one with a tv many years ago which when you changed the station made a clickign sound that remote became known as the clicker

but now i call my remote Steve and steve has become my best friend

in my house it was always the flickie

i also call it the clicker (not to be confused with the click-click which is a stapler!!)

Used to call it the Chopper, just a plain old Remote now.

I like "Modge"

From this day, mine shall also be called 'the modge' and when my girlfriend asks why, and I tell her it's for frequency modulator, she can roll her eyes and give me that look that says "why didn't I pick that other guy"

or
