I call it "lost" as its always lost and mysteriously turns up in random endings like the program lost. One time I found it in the bathroom Baffled me for ages.

early gizmos (remote controls for t.v.'s) had "tuning forks" made of aluminium which when struck with a small hammer inside the remote device, emmitted ultrasonic notes which the tv would "hear" and change the channel. when the hammer struck an aluminium bar it would make a click which is why it was know as a clicker (real name: zenith space commad). i think they should make them again as they dont need batteries!! dontcha hate it when the gizmo's batterys die!! arrrgh

The magic, prob frm dad or sum1 when they 1st got tv with remote the joke was to say magic wen turned over, get tiring after awhile but thats my family! Then the gizmo. Thingamajiggy, the yoke and the remote
