Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Driveway gates

I'm having a new driveway installed and i want gates to finish it off.The bloke doing the drive suggested brick pillers @200 euro each to hang t he gates. This seems expensive and somebody else told me that anybody who does gates will install thier own metal pillars. Which would be the best option and does anybody have an…

I'm having a new driveway installed and i want gates to finish it off.The bloke doing the drive suggested brick pillers @200 euro each to hang t he gates.
This seems expensive and somebody else told me that anybody who does gates will install thier own metal pillars.
Which would be the best option and does anybody have an idea of price for gates across a 10ft driveway?

That really is a matter of taste, there are loads of different styles, sizes etc. its hard to tell. You could probably get a set of gates and brackets from NCF for a couple of hundred euro but they might be abit agricultural

NCF??
I'm looking for reasonably decorative gates but nothing fancy or elaborate
something like this

What you are looking at there would probably run to about €550 - €700 with pillars and primed.
