    Hi there,

Im having trouble recording with my Goodmans GDVD301RP, It records & then shows up write error & then when you try & see the prog it recorded it shows up unexpected power failure & last prog deleted?

I've had the recorder about 2-3yrs, its also factory reconditioned, suppose thats not going to help its longevity as im only guessing.

I could have taken it into someone & got it fixed, but if its gonna cost a lot, i'd rather get a new one.

    Thanks for any help received.

    Hi Dave

NP - there's not much that I can suggest though I'm afraid. Write errors are often caused by lower quality media. The first port of call would be to rule that out - so I'd buy a couple of high quality +R and +RW disks and record as per normal.

Disk quality can vary considerably even in batches of the same disk so it's possible that your problem lies here.
