USIT - 'Interesting' Customer Service

Having signed up for the Canada visa and paid my 489 euro I must say it is disappointing to be greeted by two snarly people in the USIT call centre when calling with an urgent query this afternoon.

The first 'gentleman' seemed to be offended at the prospect of having to answer a simple query. Despite me pressing 3 for Canada queries he had to transfer me to the Canada department!

Next person kept saying I should really be emailing in my queries. This despite me explaining the urgency of it.

A little bit of customer service and respect would be the least you'd expect for your 489 euro really I would have thought.

Sayit seem to be much more friendly on the phone in my experience...cheaper too.

Was in there yesterday to get a quote on a flight to S.America. They quoted €1270 return for the open jaw ticket I wanted. Went to Trailfinders with the same dates and they found a way of doing it for €1050. USIT hadnt even checked about doing it the way route Trailfinders did. I even said my dates were flexible so I could get a good price but she just pulled the first flight price out of the hat and quoted it. Useless tbh, they're supposed to be a travel agent selling to students and they cost €220 more than a highstreet agent.

All in all I found the flights on statravel.co.uk for £611, around €680 so I think I'll go with that:D Just have to get me a cheapie to Gatwick and Im sorted:)
