    Petty and needless. Also, it won't happen, it is just a PR blurb by the Bishops in order to manipulate public support :).

    The abortion issue is always going to be a losing battle for pro-life organizations (including religions) and I imagine this is a rather cynical ploy to see who is on their side.

    They are suing are they PJ? I thought from reading that they just outright didnt like it and were protesting. Either way its blowing smoke, I don't honestly think they would close down 600+ hospitals for the sake of abortion legislation. Petty and if they ever went through with it nobody would look at the Catholic Church the same way again imo.
