This could have been in the Angling forum but it is relevent to Waterford and the South East.

I know that there are an enormous amount of anglers who fish for pleasure, but have you ever thought of joing a club in Waterford. Rinnashark Sea Angling Club is run by a few lads from Tramore and Waterford and the season is about to begin for 2009. We have a Senior section and Juvenile section catering for young lads from 8 -16, under 8's must be accompanied. Competitions are run as nights of learning and fumn a nd no one should think that just because you are in a club you are better than anyone else, we all had to learn at some time. The list of events in 2009 are as follows:

Senior Competitions 2009

1. Sun Mar 29th Cheekpoint Strand 1pm - 5pm
2. Sat April 18th Ballinacourty 5pm - 9pm
3. Thur Apr 30th Passage Rocks 8pm - 11pm
4. Fri May 29th Faithlegg 8pm - 11pm
5. Fri Jun 12th East Coast 9pm - 1am
6. Sun July 12th Portally 5pm - 9pm
7. Mon Sept 14th Clonea 8pm - 12 Midnight
8. Fri Oct 30th Ballyquin 8pm - 12 Midnight
9. Sat Dec 5th Passage East (XMAS) 4pm – 7pm

Juvenile Fixtures 2009

1. Sat April 4th Woodstown Beach 12 – 2.30pm
2. Sun April 26th Dunmore Dock 3.30pm – 6.00pm
3. Sun May 9th Cheekpoint Wall 3pm – 5.30pm
4. Sat May 23rd Passage East 2pm – 4.30pm
5. Sat Sept 5th Creadon Beach 3pm – 5.30pm
6. Sun Oct 10th Passage East 1pm – 3.30pm
7. Sun Nov 15th Passage East (XMAS) 2pm – 4.30pm
