Patchouli oil, although I was never allowed wear it at home. My dad always said it followed him around like a ...well, like a bad smell. I loved it though.

Shoe polish, reminds me of my Granda, who would sit for what seemed like ages polishing and buffing his black shoes. He used to say , " You can tell a lot about a man from his shoes".:)

The smell of sea air , especially in september, the seaweed makes the smell a lot stronger and in the evenings when I'm standing in the back garden I always take a deep breath of it .

Not your usual fav smells , but they are some of mine.

Channel No.5 always reminds me of a Sunday morning, wrapped up on the couch watching cartoons with my mothers furry jacket for a blanket.

Love the smell of hay cause it reminds me of being down on my Grannies farm.

The smell of freshly cut grass being "topped" for silage (same reason as above!)

The smell of rain hitting the asphalt at the begining of the wet season at the top end of Australia. Its a similar smell in SE Asia, but depending on the country the smell of sewage kinda detracts a little, and if your in Vietnam, the rain shortly turns to floods :)

Yes, I know, it sounds like the end of the Australia movie ... but they didn't have asphalt then so suck it! It makes a difference.
