Eurgh, had my mock oral in French today, went alright, but she asked me "Who do you believe created the earth?" (It had context, talking about LC religion) but it struck me as odd.

Cellulose acetate! Stay old school. Its used in making lacquers.

Had DEB history paper today.I couldn't find any other post with what was on it so here goes

Ireland Topic 2:1What role did the suffrage movement play in the period up to 1914? 2.To what extent was there a consolidation of Catholic identity in Ireland between 1870 and 1914 3.How successful was the first SF party in achieving its aims in the period from its foundation to 1914? 4.How did the unionisation of the working classes culminate in the Dublin Strike and Lockout?

Topic 3:1.How did the parliamentary success of the HR Bill 1912 accelerate soverignty and partition in Ireland? 2.What were the strenghts and weaknesses of W.T Cosgrave as a political leader? 3.What impact did WW2 have on Belfast? 4.In what ways were language,religion and education used to promote different cultural identities North and South,during the period 1920-49?

It was actually a nice paper.

Yes! they were talking a mile a minute! everyone in our exam just broke out into a nervous fit of laughter after the first round. Doubt the real thing will be so bad

For the DEB paper know

definition of the derivative rule, distance forumla

can't remember anything tbh but it's better than none.

Anyone else think that the DEB German written was ridiculously easy? Especially the Angewandte Grammatik (which is usually impossible) and the letter. I'd be delighted if that paper came up in June, same for French. I know everyone says that the mocks are harder that the real thing, but the French and German mocks that I had were WAY easier than most past papers. The German listening was way too hard though so I guess it balanced out a bit.

I think I did the DEB German paper it had

Tenses and adjective endings for the Angewandte Grammatik but they were fairly basic. The first Ausserung zum Thema asked you to describe a photo of an old woman smiling in about 3/4 sentences and asked why there is homelessness and poverty despite the Celtic tiger and I can't remember the other part to it. The second AZT asked if you'd like to be rich and why/ why not, if Irish people are too materialistic and if money is more important than health. The letter was about exam pressure in Irish schools, computer usage in Irish schools, emigrants in Ireland and how alcohol/ drugs affect school students' work. The picture Q was about the environment.

yeah iv got biology HL, Spioler:

plant biology, alcohol fermentation exp., evolution, exp. for starch, Dna and genetic definations.

1. find: equation of circle, center of cirlce at origin (0,0), equation of tangent to origin, equations of two circles through point (2,-4) both touch x axis and y axis.

2. vectors, prove using vectors ... is a parallelogram, write k and m in terms of i and j (all vectors)

3. distance between parallel lines in surd form, coords of 2 points on quadrilateral (1 point of y axis), find area of quadrilateral, transformations

4. limit x->0 trigonometry, length of arc + area of shaded segment on arc, prove trigonometry equation

5 length of sides of triangle 5:7:9 find biggest angle, complete trigonometry table, graph the function, state the range of k

6. probability, how many ways can a word be arranged, characteristics of equation, find roots, value of k if = 0

7. probability again
