I've played a few rounds of pitch and putt and loved it

I would like my own 9 iron and putter but can't spend much. I thought it may be better to try here than go to a shop and pay over the odds for a poor-ish quality pair of clubs.

Has anyone out there got what I may be looking for? I live in the midlands and am tall (about 6' 3"). Many thanks

Without trying to sound smart here, if you cant hit the G10 3 wood then a 3 wood probably is not for you. The G10 is just about as easy to hit as they come!

    Regards
    Ian

Yeh, you're right. I couldn't hit the G10 driver or irons that well either. I should probably just give up.

If i can't hit the G10, no chance is it easy to hit.

    :pac:

The Ping G series is one of the most user friendly drivers made in the last 10 years. G2-G10 are excellent clubs(I've hit the G15 only a few times so unfair to judge as I was playing crap at the time in general), lord knows how many of them I've sold since their release. Always received positive feedback and their reviews have always been excellent. My driving has always been my downfall even when I was playing off a low handicap but the G2 and G5 were utterly easy drivers to hit.

Some clubs just don't suit certain players though. I've never gotten on with Ping woods or irons, but am pretty much fine with every other make.

I caddied for a Spanish tour pro in the Irish Open in 2008 called Luis Claverie (he made the cut that weekend but hasn't achieved much in his professional career). Anyway, he gave me his two wedges as he had just got new ones. They are Cleveland black metal Tour Action REG.588 wedges, one is 54 degree and the other is a 60 degree. The grips are Golf Pride Tour Velvet. The two clubs are in excellent condition for used clubs.

I like to upgrade my clubs very regularly (and spent a fortune on new wedges!), so would like to offload these for €50 each or €80 for the two. These clubs were used on the European Tour, who wouldn't love to have them in their arsenal!

I have a very clean & little used Taylormade Burner (don't ask!!*) which has a aldila proto stiff shaft 9.5 degree which i have no use for. I'll stick it on adverts later when i take a few pics of it but if anyone is interested let me know.

Would swap it for a TM 3 / 5 wood or TM rescue.

    * bought it on ebay and 7 weeks later & no sign of it so i lodged a complaint with e-bay and i went into a golf shop and bought a new driver. Damm Burner turned up the next day!! Typical!!
