    Anyone out there got a R9 supertri head for swap backwards to normal R9 head? I have the R9 420 'cc' and I already have the TP shaft etc so I'm looking to keep that. Looking to either buy the Supertri or exchange heads with someone with whom the Supertri is not working and rather than trade in would do a swap for another head.

    The Supertri head would surely be worth more than the R9 head?

    For sure. With the new R11 coming out in February perhaps both prices might even drop.
    I guess I'm not really looking to buy a club.
    I'm more looking for someone that has a supertri and perhaps is not hitting it well and could like to just swap out for a different head, given that the shaft and grip can remain. Much of the time it's all the persons mind, so if they are not confident looking at 1 driver head, then maybe swapping it out might help. I'm not hitting mine badly at all, but I think I could get more distance with the Supertri. I had the 420 originally due to accuracy and I am in play almost all of the time, but in the last year I've droped well down to single figures and my swing is better so I'm thinking I can move off the 420cc now. Time will tell, but I'm not spending 200 euro to find out. Hence the long shot of someone wanting to do the opposite.

    The SuperTri is an absolutely stunning looking club, but as you say... just a shame about the price tag! I think the usual suspects around Dublin are still looking for €300+ for it. It'll be interesting to see if there's any movement once the R11 comes out though.

    I reckon even with the R11 it might take a while before prices drop on the supertri. The white head of the R11 will be a fashion statement more than anything. Good luck keeping that clean. I never found the glossy black head of TM clubs to be an issue in the sun. Maybe the sun is just not high enough over here.
