It says on their website it is water resistant. To me that would mean it's good for rain but not to be put underwater?

Cheers for that. It was a torrential downpour we got caught in Friday and I had it on my trolley. Didn’t think it got that wet. Touchscreen isn’t working now.

Was it a club GPS or a friends?

If it's a friend's I'd get him to go back to where he bought it and explain that it was used on Friday, it got wet in the rain and the touchscreen just failed.

I'd be pointing out that it's not fit for purpose if it stops working after a bit of rain, it is Ireland. If they've any hassle just show them the link above in the shop and get him to quote the Supply of Goods and Services Act.

I had the exact same issue with the exact same watch. Screen died after it was subject to light rain. Returned it to McGuirks and choose a different GPS watch - no questions asked.

Not sure the model is robust enough. My previous Garmin approach 3 was superior.

Guys I got a new GPS watch so have my old one for sale. Garmin Approach S1. Working perfect and battery is still perfect on it, full round and over a week as use as normal watch.

I’ll get a few pics and get the add up on adverts but wanted to see did anyone on here want it first. Open to reasonable offers for it.

I'll take it off you, once price is right of course! I'll start the bidding at a pack of tayto and a can of coke.....

I've got the below brand new Callaway 3 wood up for sale at the mo. Received it in a golf event last week, and have no use for it. Still in original plastic with headcover, not even opened. Went into stores and it retails for around €159.99 in Halpenny's & McGuirks, happy to take 120 from a boardsie if wanted.

If anybody hears of any clubs being sold at a suspicious price please let me know. White grips on the Titleist 712MB irons and the XLR8 shaft might hopefully stand out.
    Cheers
    Mark

Apologies if the post breaks any rules, please take it down if necessary. Just looking to get some word out there as it is a big loss.
