Trees sprouting leaves already?

I've got a few trees in my back garden, two of them lost their leaves very quickly and early last year.. end of august i think. I was a bit worried about them to be honest. Now i'm noticing that one of them has started to sprout leaves already!! surely its a bit early? Thanks T

Noticed a wild fuchsia bush here with new leaves y'day... The days are longer now. But it surprised me all the same
