Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any posters over yonder? Heading that way in a few months. I've just started learning Nihongo and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good Japanese language schools in the (greater lol) Tokyo area.

I was in the "greater" Tokyo area last year - near Machida. (back in Ireland now). The first thing you should do is get onto your ward office. You'll probably have to go there first full day you're in Japan anyway to get your registration sorted out.
Most wards have free (or practically) lessons for newcomers. They wouldn't be intensive and are run by volunteers, but are generally very pleasant and a good way to meet local people.

PM me if you're going to my old locality and I'll give you whatever advice I can!
