There was a horrible red light shining on his left hand and with my very limited knowledge on pp this was the best I could come up with to hid that while keeping a little colour in the image.

The more I look at that shot, the more i like it. It has an old fashioned quality. At first it looks a black and white picture but the lights of the Luas give a hint of colour. Does'nt the snow give a great opportunity to change the ordinary into something more special.

What I particularly like about the scene (in retrospect) is that it has the nice artistic monochrome feel, yet the desaturation isn't forced on it in a pretentious "black & white = good photo" way; it's just how the scene actually was. Don't intend to offend black and white photographers, I just think it's a tired method.

Of course, it's not like I actually fabricated the set up myself - I just took the pic with my phone as I was walking to the Luas : P

phenomenal shot there wheresmycamera. great intensity, and to be fair you did very well with the pp, looks great!

Thanks Kieran. I was going for a busy photoshoot look but with the model still being the priority in the shot. I wanted to get the dof of both people in there.
