Yeah i think Brown is a quality footballer. The two Da Silvas arent that much different to him. Battle for every ball, get forward well (the twins are probably better at that, they are brazillian after all). Could pop up with an important goal too. Not many but a few.
Thought Wes had a cracking last two years.

If it is TVE LA 2 it's a 50 minute delay.

I believe you are referencing that talk in the United thread from a week or more back. Now I believe that discussion was mainly about Wes playing against Inter Milan (Vidic is out) as his scheduled return was supposed to be around then or just before then. Now I believe most posters said that they would prefer if he had played a few games before then and proven that he is back to the level he was at last season, otherwise Evans should start.

Now this stands to logic. As we witnessed earlier in the season when Gary Neville came back. He under performed and yet still played in the Arsenal game where he got raped. Wes Brown does not need to prove himself, he needs to prove his fitness and get his match sharpness back before I would be putting him in ahead of Evans for the bigger games.

Re:Tevez. Tevez does not need to prove himself he is a class player. However United need to figure out wether they can afford the transfer fee for a third choice striker, or if there are other areas of the squad that SAF would prefer to strengthen ahead of our back up striker position.
