Hi

The idea is to get people who are away on holiday (or where they are living) to post images of themselves with a flag. Either a country flag or any other interesting flag. I wouldn't like to put anything negative on the site as it's supposed to be lighthearted.

I was also thinking of getting a flag and posting it around the world to different people. A bit like the stolen Gnome idea.....I have seen a Flag of the World that might do, but if you have any ideas of one that would travel well around the world, please let me know

I will have a "Best of the Month" flag image, (when I get some images...) but as yet haven't any funds to give away a prize.......

So if you are away on your hols or have a pic of you and a flag then I would love to hear from you

Hi all

Thanks for the great response so far....I am impressed...

Has anyone got images with people in them too like the football ones and the marching. The ones with buildings too are a great indicator of where the photo's were taken......These are all from your own personal photo albums are they?

Swiss, Italian and some other flag. I think the other one may be for the region of either Switzerland ot Italy that I had one of my skis in at the time, don't know which side was which though.

Hi

Thanks so much for the flags images....Here's one from Nimbin in Western Australia. It has quite a few flags in the picture including buddhist and peace flags...

Catalan flag, taken outside the grain store museum, Taragonna, Catalonia.

Catalan flag with the Reus flag in the backround, Taken in Reus, on the day of the Immaculate Conception parade.

Reus flag, taken on the day of the parade of the Immaculate Conception. (larger than life-size puppets and music!!)
