    Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me where the pub in the guinness ad where the brother swims across the sea to say sorry is? It is in New York isn't it?

Also could anyone recommend any other good pubs in New York for St Patricks Day?

    Thanks

McSorley's in Manhattan is good. http://www.mcsorleysnewyork.com/home.html

YOu can can have a light or dark beer but you must buy two at a time.

**EDIT** no idea what the pub in the ad is though.

That was actually filmed in Dice Bar, Queen St, here in Dublin! Guinness film most of their ads there! :) See them filming there every so often on my walk to work

I was in New York for Paddys Day last year and it was fab, we stuck the parade for nearly 3 hours but seemingly it goes on for 8 hours  Im sorry I cant recommend a particular pub cos there were 3 Irish bars close to our hotel but we had teenagers with us and didnt stay long, all I can say is that you will find lots of bars and dont limit yourself to just the one! By the way, Im going back in April yipeee!
