mobile g maps / google maps - any good

Am prob going to get a tocco in the next few days and was thinking of downloading one of these to a memory card. (and then not connect to internet each time) Are they any good? Do they give voice directions?

google maps is very good but doesn't give voice directions and can't be used offline
