Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,
Last of the big spenders here :)

I'm looking for an online resource (I assume that's where I'll get the best deal) to find a half decent stand/tripod/whatever for a Creative Vado

where might be a good website or shop? (based in Dublin)
    thanks

The 7dayshop.com & MyMemory.co.uk both have a range of tripods.

For the Vado they did have a Mini-Pod which was cute & may be useful.

For an SLR ... you gets what you pays for. Manfrotto have a good range but look at the weight of the camera/lens. You may get away with a cheapie but it will let you down eventually.

Pixania is based in France, they are internet only. They used to be cheap but are no longer so, their main distinguishing feature these days if you read around the forums is that their customer 'service' is appallingly bad.

That gorilla pod thing looks pretty cool...
Almost all photo stores have it i think. Its like around 40eur for a digicam and around 55eur for a slr...
