    OK, something from a bit further afield this time (and BTW the front of the building is covered in scaffolding which is why it looks a little odd) ...

    Is that Drottningholm, the royal palace, outside Stockholm? Looks a bit different.

    Yep, that's it! Like I said, the front was all covered in scaffolding and some kind of netting for some conservation work when I was there, so that's maybe why it looks a bit odd.

    You're next!

    Lived near there for a few years a while back. Thought I recognized it. Give me a few mins to find one and post it up!

    I imagine this should be easy, there's a clue in the pic itself. Brownie points for knowing where the photo was taken from.

    Sorry, going to be out of circulation until later this afternoon. If someone really wants to, please start a new pic and I'll give the answer to mine when I get back.

    Pretty sure it is (you can just make out the Eiffel Tower at the left of the picture) .. so why don't you take it away, bovril?

    Yes Alun it's the guards in Athens. How they keep a straight face in those shoes I will never know!

    Yes, I know it looks just like a field, but you have to look a bit more closely.

    Is this in Ireland? Or mainland Europe?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,379 ✭✭✭positron

    @Alun, still just a field to me..! Grass, trees, hills, sheep or cattle grazing, roads, tire tracks, mountains in the horizon..?

    I am rubbish at this game..!! :o

    @charlieroot - it's in the UK.

    @positron - just look more carefully .. there's a hidden 'feature' in the landscape that's the key here.

    It's a bit obscure though, so I may have to give a clue after a while if nobody gets it.

    You're warm, very warm, but it's in a different part of the UK.
