    Hi

I need some advice on a '06 Toyota Yaris with approx 27,000 miles on it. It is in great condition and has 2 owners I believe. Garage has agreed a price of 9,000.

As I will be mainly doing some city driving and not alot of long journeys I am sticking with a small "supermini" as they are called.

What do ye think of above deal? All feedback greatly appreciated:)

    Sounds a little expensive for a 06. Another €500 - €750 off maybe.

The only real way to know if it is a good deal is by shopping around and seeing what other dealers are asking.

Under 8k would be a good deal, 9k is a bit expensive.

I wouldn't buy a 06 Yaris, they haven't changed much since 00 models, so whats the point spending all that money?

You'd pick up a 01/02 with average miles for around 3k.Much better investment imo.

The Mk2 Yaris arrived in 2006. It was much improved over the original model.

Few curves and gadgets, its not a proper upgrade like say Focus tdci or anything.

The MkII is built on a different larger platform with different engines and a higher safety rating than the older model. It is also taller and roomier. They don't get much more different to the previous model than that imo.
